Multiple sources are reporting that North Texas and the Texas Tech Red Raiders have agreed to a home-and-home series. The Mean Green will play in Lubbock, TX on September 14th, 2024 with the Red Raiders will making a return trip on September 11th, 2027. Currently for 2024, North Texas have SMU scheduled to play at Apogee Stadium September 7th, 2024. This is currently the first Big 12 opponent North Texas has managed to get to play in Apogee Stadium since it opened in 2011.
