CUSA MBB & WBB Action and Standings

Hits: 72

The Mean Green Men and Women had the night off but there was still plenty of action in Conference USA, including two multiple overtime sessions between UTEP and FIU for both the Men’s and the Women’s squads. To add to the fact that both squads for both schools took it to multiple overtime sessions, both games ended with the same score — 88-87.

Here is just one story about the odd happenstance between both the FIU/UTEP squads.

UTEP 1-3 3 3-13
Charlotte 1-4 3.5 7-9
North Texas 0-4 4 6-10
Florida Intl 0-4 4 4-13

Noteworthy: If the season ended today, both FIU and North Texas would miss the conference tournament due to the fact only 12 teams can make it. FIU travels to San Antonio while North Texas travels to Rice. I don’t foresee either winless team winning a conference game this weekend.
