Mason Fine Leads Team in Miracle Drive to Defeat UTSA With No Timeouts
Mason Fine lead North Texas (4-2 3-0) on a 98-yard drive to score the winning touchdown in 67 seconds with just 1:07 left on the clock against the UTSA Road Runners (3-2 0-2). #TheDrive may become a defining moment in this season. Prior to #TheDrive, the Mean Green Defense needed to make a critical stop. The defense forced a much needed three-and-out and forced a punt. That punt though pinned North Texas deep in its own territory at the 2-yard line. North Texas continues to control its own destiny with this win making it the third straight win and a perfect record in conference play. The Mean Green are also two games away from becoming bowl eligible for the second straight year

North Texas is coming off the bye week after having traveled to Southern Miss and defeated the Golden Eagles 43-28. Right now the Mean Green offense is on a roll where they are putting up unbelievable numbers averaging 38.8 points per game. The North Texas (3-2 2-0) offense and defense got off to a bit of a slow start but once they got their feet underneath themselves, the tide started to change.
