North Texas (9-14 4-9) snapped its 5-game losing streak this evening against the Golden Panthers of Florida International. The Mean Green defense shined as it held the Panthers to the lowest offensive output for the season. The second lowest scoring game was against Weber State where North Texas fell 38-45.
Tonight’s player of the game is Candice Adams, who put 14 points on the board. She was 6 of 12 (50%) from the floor and 2 of 7 (28.6%) from behind the arc. She also picked up an Assist and a Steal with just 1 Turnover on 23 minutes of play.
