I’m still waiting for official announcements to be posted by North Texas and South Alabama athletic departments but it appears the two former Sun Belt foes will face off in a home and home series starting in 2024. North Texas will first travel to Mobile, Alabama for a rare August game on the 31st in 2024 and the Jaguars will make a return trip the next year on Sept. 27, 2025.
North Texas is 1-0 against the Jaguars all-time in football according to Sports-Reference.com. The two teams last played on Nov. 10th, 2012 where the Mean Green won 24-14 in the final season of North Texas being a member of the Sun Belt Conference.
