North Texas announced today its 2017 Recruiting Class for Football, the second recruiting class for Coach Seth Littrell. The Mean Green have added 19 new players to its roster — 16 high school recruits and three junior college transfers.
The class was centered around Texas as only four recruits coming from out of state.

- Two Defensive linemen
- Two Running backs
North Texas had 20 scholarships to give and still has one left. The Mean Green gave out several blue-shirts at the beginning of the 2016 season which counted against the 2017 25 limit.

I don’t take recruiting rankings as the be-all-end-all as these only take into account a player’s potential. Rarely do people go back and look at how a recruiting class contributed to the success or failure of a program when the players have graduated from the university.
