Hot Sports Opinion
With this loss, getting into the Conference USA Basketball Tournament has become pretty much impossible. There are six games remaining in the season and North Texas is 2-1/2 game behind Southern Miss, who would be the No. 12 seed if the tournament started tomorrow. North Texas needs to win more games than they lose over these next six games and need Southern Miss to lose more games than they win.
An important game North Texas must win is on Saturday, February 25 against the aforementioned Southern Miss Eagles. This could be game that decides the Mean Green’s post-season fate.
