On his debut game for the Mean Green<\/a>, Keith Frazier<\/a> earns Player of the Game honors while coming off the bench. He shot 5 of 8 (62.5%) from the floor 2 of 5 (40%) from behind the arc while picking up 3 Defensive Rebounds. He also added an Assist and a Block to his stat line on 22 minutes of action. I believe in the coming weeks we’ll see his minutes slowly climb while he gets his basketball legs back after having to sit out a year due to NCAA Transfer rules.<\/p>\n

Also double figures for the Mean Green was Jeremy Combs (11) and Rickey Brice Jr (10). Ryan Woolridge<\/a>\u00a0(pictured above)\u00a0played some solid minutes in his second game in a Mean Green uniform and picked 3 steals and an Assist on 23 minutes of play.<\/p>\n

North Texas has finally beaten a team with a winning record this season. North Texas was previously 0-5 against teams with records better than .500. San Diego also has a record of 6-5 coming into Thursday night’s contest so there is a chance the Mean Green can gather some momentum heading into conference play starting on the 31st.<\/p>\n

The Mean Green return to the Super Pit on December 20th for their final non-conference game against San Diego. Tip-off should be 30 minutes after the women’s game finishes or 7:00 PM depending on whether the women’s game against Texas State runs late or not.<\/p>\n
