North Texas struggled against the Western Kentucky Hill Toppers but there was a late push to bring the Mean Green within 8 points but the 19 points the Toppers scored in the 3rd Period were too much to overcome. \u00a0North Texas is now 7-8 overall and 2-3 in conference play.<\/p>\n

Acheil Tac<\/a>\u00a0is today’s Player of the Game, who led the team with 18 Rebounds (7 Offensive; 11 Defensive) making this her sixth double-double of the season and second in a row. On 37 minutes of play Tac scored 10 points shooting 4 of 9 (44.4%) from the floor and hit both of her Free Throw attempts.<\/p>\n

Candice Adams<\/a> led the team with 15 points. \u00a0The only other player in double digits was Acheil Tac. Kelsey Criner<\/a> came in with 9 points and 9 Rebounds but fouled out before she could possibly be the second Mean Green player with a double-double.<\/p>\n

Teandra Jones<\/a> did not play again today due to personal reasons. \u00a0She also missed the game against Marshall on Thursday.<\/p>\n
