North Texas continued its hot three point shooting draining 15 3-pointers against the Div. II Humboldt State Lumberjacks lead by redshirt freshman\u00a0Umoja Gibson<\/a>\u00a0who shot a perfect six of six from behind the arc. Overall, the Mean Green shot\u00a053.1% from the floor. North Texas had three players outscore the top Lumberjack scorer — Umoja Gibson (27), Michael Miller (17), and Jorden Duffy<\/a> (14) Perhaps the one blemish on the stat sheet is the free throw shooting where North Texas went 10-17 (58.8%).<\/p>\n

The Player of the Game is once again Umoja Gibson, who was 10 of 13 (76.9%!) from the floor, made all six of his 3-point shots, and made one of his two free throw shots. He also added five assists, four steals, and three total rebounds on 23 minutes on the court. Gibson has averaged 29.5 points per game and is scoring 1.25 points per minute.<\/p>\n

Michael Miller<\/a> had a pretty big game coming off the bench scoring 17 points on six of 13 (46.1%) shooting on the floor and made five of nine (55.5%) from 3-point land. He also picked up seven total rebounds, an assist, and a steal on 27 minutes of action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
