The Mean Green appear to have a better conference schedule draw than last season. North Texas only plays last year’s top 4 programs a total of 5 times — @Middle Tennessee; @La Tech; Old Dominion; UTEP – home and away. North Texas will play the Florida twins twice (both home and away), who finished with a combined record of 9-27 in conference play and an overall 17-44 record last season.<\/p>\n
Grant McCasland will be looking to right the ship after the program has not seen a winning record since Johnny Jones left the program to become the Head Coach at LSU in 2012.<\/p>\n
