Mean Green Sports has posted five videos the past week from the 2014 Heart of Dallas Bowl from January 1st, 2014 against UNLV where the Mean Green defeated the Rebels 36-14. If any other memories are posted to the Mean Green Sports YouTube channel, I will add them to this post.

Bowl Fan Events
Two Mean Green Nation events are planned in conjunction with the bowl. The first is Monday evening at Dot’s Hop House and Cocktail Courtyard in Deep Ellum. It’s The Party to Beat Army beginning at 6 p.m. and features all the expected Mean Green revelry, including giveaways, door prizes, marching band, cheer, dance, and Scrappy. Additionally, the alum-owned establishment is sure to rollout some benefits for all attending Mean Green fans.
The second is the pregame tailgate at the Embarcadero Building (Building #17 on the Fair Park map) adjacent to the east side of Cotton Bowl Stadium. This is the same tailgate location as the New Year’s Day victory in 2014 and will feature easy access for fans riding the Dart Rail or driving on their own. Ticket will-call is also at the Embarcadero Building, which will be the primary pregame gathering location for all Mean Green Fans. Admission to both events is free.

North Texas fans are encouraged to support the University and purchase bowl tickets from the North Texas Athletic Ticket Office. Mean Green Club members will have priority in seating assignments for tickets purchased by Dec. 18, so please click the button below and secure your tickets today.
